To have the fully captured CVD, use the Twin Hammers driveshaft joint. Part Number VTR232013

Then the LCC drive shaft Part Number LOSB3580 and LCC drive cup Part Number LOSB3581

Are you running any tubes inside the axle housings?

I made some short threaded rings for the axle tube side of the servo mount that adds a lot of beef to the mounting point and only weight a few grams. I'll drop one in the mail for you if you need one.
I am waiting on Chris at CreationFab to make some brass tubes for the front axle. The combination of those and a nut on the diff screw, the mount should be pretty sturdy. Thank you for offering though! I've had a couple PM's about the servo mount. Do you have a link on where to buy it?

Perfect, those tubes make for a nice setup. I been too busy to get much of the new stuff posted here on RCC, but the mounts are available. A Pm or an email to ytowncrawlers@gmail.com is the best way to get one.

Are you planning on doing anything with the plate wheels to help keep dirt out?

I will most likely switch the the CI wheels. But I don't know what width to get. So with these wheels I can change the width easily for testing.

But I have thought about a large ring of thin polycarb tubing to help keep debris out.

I got the rear axle kit today from my local hobby shop. It makes the rear axle WIDE! But the axles are twice as thick as the stock ones, and utilize a 2nd bearing.

And here are a couple more pictures of the blue panels. I am really digging how this truck looks!

So with that kit, only the rear axle is widened? I don't know if it's just me or if that front axle seems wider than normal as well. Great looking rig by the way.

You should, it's been a lot of fun building! This one actually is probably going to be for sale soon.

Thank you! The front axle is 9 3/4" and the rear is just under 10 1/2" hex to hex.

Yeah, this kit is designed for the Yeti, which has different hubs front to rear to make it square. I used the kit along with .225 VP hubs to get my rear tires 11 1/2" wide outside to outside. The front is also 11 1/2" with the .475 hubs.

And thank you! I really like how this truck is looking!

I am having a tough time trying to figure out where to mount the electronics. So I would appreciate your guys' input. Keep in mind the chassis is already coated, so the parts need to bolt around the tubes with a clamp/brakcet, or zip ties.

Here is a picture of my thoughts so far: Battery up front on a CF plate with velcro and a strap. Then reciever box in the back between the shocks. And ESC inside somewhere. I think I'm going to pick up a Wraith or Yeti interior to fill out the rest of the body as well. Not sure how the Wraith one will fit with the 2spd trans servo.

I'll give a few hundro's for this and you wouldn't have to decide where all that goes. Just saying.

I counter sunk the screw on the front servo plate to make everything clear nicely. I also picked up another set of the proline power strokes for the front end.

I'm picking up stainless front tubes inserts and that should finish all the chassis work. So the only thing left will be electronics and lexan interior/fender wells to finish out the look.

I picked up some VP SLW's that were on sale and decided to put the black V4's on this truck.

Also just picked up stainless axle tubes for the front axle from RcBros. They fit in perfectly, and are pre-threaded for the upper link mount.

How do you like the axial sway bar you used? Did you have to mod it to fit
