Inset lights installed in a ScalerFab Stinger Bumper

In Cat's "Gravity" Build thread we got onto the topic of lights for the ScalerFab Stinger bumper. I really like this bumper but my only complaint is the lack of mounting options for the bucket lights. I had an idea to use the threaded inset light holder from the Wraith Kit. Since I currently have my rig gutted for electronics 'reorganizing' I went ahead and mocked up the installation which turned out pretty good.

I used parts 3, 8, and 10 from the stock light holder set, AX80045A and the matching lenses from AX80049. Any standard 5mm LED lights should fit these holders. The threaded light holders fit perfectly once the bumper holes are enlarged to 5/16" and I don't think the backing nuts will be needed. I installed the lenses, lights and caps and called it good enough for a proof of concept.

Before calling this done I'll CA glue the lenses in place and silicone the housing caps and housings into the bumper. This mod will block access to the mounting screws so make sure you have an alternate method for removing the screws. I use a Chapman Mfg Midget Ratchet and hex bit.

Looks awesome, those lights point down correct? This might be perfect to fill the lighting gap caused by my roof lights.

Yes, they should point in that exact spot.
