Default Question for anyone running VP scales knuckles/chubs and cms

I'm getting ready to install the VP scale knuckles and chubs so I can have a steering stop. I'm running into issues with my truck trying to push the tires past my end point adjustment with my stage 1 parts. It's making my servo heat up more than I like.

I notice that the steering distance changes with suspension travel with the cms. Where did you set you epa? Was it done fully compressed or full droop?

I set my endpoints with the suspension at full extension. Honestly, i never thought to check what was happening at ride height or full compression. Interesting... The servo (hitec) does seem to get hot to the touch but its my first alloy bodied servo so i have nothing to compare. I havent had a problem yet, even in 100*+ ambient.

Lets just clear this up; you mentioned the "stage 1" kit. Does this mean you're still running a 4 link or have you switched to the 3 link/ panhard setup for the cms?

Stage 1 kit was the incision hubs/knuckles. I am running the VP links and CMS kit. My 7990th has an alloy case and after about an hour in the rocks it was hot. I notice it was getting pushed past the EPA as the tires were rubbing the links. I am hoping the stops will correct that. This servo is 611in/oz so I don't think steering it was causing it to get hot.
