never got anywhere with bgr sadly.. working on building my new set of f9 axles and having a bit of an issue... the tubes wont slide all the way into the diff housing. if i pull the drop out diff section out of the housing the go all the way in but not with it installed.. not sure what to do because its like that on the front and rear. is there something im doing wrong? also the ssd scale scx10 chubs and knuckles dont fit currie f9 axles.. not happy

working on getting this thing mounted up to an scx10 chassis and then mounting the wraith cage on it. that plastic just isnt sturdy enough

haha yeah there will be one per shifter and on on the steering wheel. thatll leave one free for a battery or something (: remember hes a robot lol

vanquish said the bearing caps are the problem with the tubes not sliding in all the way so they sent some out. great customer service, huge thanks to Vanquish products.

anyways snapped the chassis blah blah blah heres my fix:

and i bobbed the rear so my tires wont rub anymore

front shock mounts and shortened chassis
im not making this c2 legal because there arent any comps where i live. steel chassis was just because i was snapping the wraith cage

Breaking known weak parts. F9 housings will fix most of that, MIPs have been pretty stout for me. All thread links with a bunch of bends aren't exactly robust... you can bend them by hand pretty easily.

yeah the weak spots were fine till i stepped up to a 3s battery. im working on getting some more vanquish parts to finish the f9s so i can get my rig back together. vvds, servo mount, scx19 chubs and knuckles all on the list. i found a guy who can replicate my upper links in titanium so no more bending those. all 4 for 30 bucks shipped
those are all the most necessary upgrades so after i pick those up ill be focusing on either an exo or my yeti.

You desperately need some beef tubes

I like the size of the cage, it looks very much like the bouncer Side by sides getting built. Like this:

I've got one from my Wraith that looks the same, I only got about 3 minutes from it before the crunch. Went back to Axial universals front and rear.

You can get grade 8 threaded rod if you want to try making your own links again.

i generally buy 8/32 all thread from home depot lol. its only like 1 dollar a foot here so you cant go wrong ive dont my links again so they are as straight as possible but they are stiff at a crazy angle to clear the shocks. i found a guy who can replicate them in titanium tho so eventually ill send him one
thanks for the recommendation
