Very nice, another item for the wish list. Will you be making a SCX10 version?

That has a indestructible look to it, probably wouldn't ever need a rebuilding. But its been proved many times before if it can be broken it will happen here (RCC) first.

No. Rebuildable tend to unbuild themselves during use.

Those look tough, do you have plans for making universal axles for us SCX10 owners without having to go XR width? That would be great

Nice looking drive shaft. Want my address so you can send me a set for full review?

I'm testing one this weekend. So far so great. They look awesome, install easy and feel bombproof. Very smooth cycling action. Maslin needs to pick up a set of these for "durability" testing.

I would need one end milled out to 6mm...

I've been through some MIP parts. Non rebuildable is a deal breaker

Holmes output, very solid.

At the trans side the MIP pin wears in to the shaft. The current slot is longer than that ear is wide.

Front shaft takes a lot less abuse. Must be all the wheelies

What are the min/max lengths? I'm looking at either this or the yeti ones to solve my offset issue with running the diamond axles in the rear of my Wraith.

I understand this is why there is a centered rear but I would love to keep all my VP parts in use and don't feel like dropping another $120 on another axle.

Or plan B: Is there a flipped truss in the works?
Thanks

FYI, all.
I received a reply from SSD on these and my issues with the swapped sides pumpkins. This company ROCKS and seems to genuinely care about us.

They are releasing in the next couple months a flipped truss (limited quantities at first).

And the specs on the Wraith version are:
The Wraith one should be the right length. The functional pin to pin lengths are:
Min: 113mm
Max: 135mm

Soon with adequate support we could all run these and have our pumpkins on the correct side.

Correct side is them both being on the same side as the trans output so you don't have a drive shaft running at a horrible angle like he ended up with 3 posts up in that under side pic.

I have been beating on these shafts for a few months now. The ssd shafts survived the 12 hour recon fix. (Shafts are recon g6 certified) No issues. Birthday bash g6, I snapped a hr pinion output. The drive shaft was ok. Still going strong after beating on them at king of the hammers. I have no complaints at all. Well thought out design and really do hold up.
