1.9 wheels on vanquish steering knuckles?
 

just wanting to know if a 1.9 wheels will work with the vanquish scale steering hubs??? i want lower OD tires and 1.9's are the size i want but dont really want to put them on 2.2 wheels and have it look like its on 20's. thanks

Yes they do I'm running 225 hubs, 19 vp bullys and Sxale wraith chubs and knuckle. Not sure about non vp wheels though. There i quite abit if clearance even with 225 hubs though.

Depends on the wheels and/or hubs if applicable to the wheels you're using.. For example my 2.2 Axial Trailready beadlocks need a 475 hub to barely clear the VP scale knuckles and with my stock width VP Methods I could probably get away with a 225 hub.

ok thanks for that i would prob just get some cheap arse 1.9 beadlocks of ebay if i go that way. i want 1.9 OD tire size and in the tread patterns you can in 1.9 because 2.2 are normally way to tall to look scale.

i may just have to try my luck i thinkwith something fitting

It is going to depend on the wheel & slw/hex you use but here are 2 examples I've got of mine with 1.9's & VP scale knuckles.

First is my Wraith on 1.9's, TSS stockers, 350 slw hubs, thin scx10 hex

Other is a comparison of clearance of 1.9 Locked-up Trail on 225 slw hubs, thicker Wraith hex.
On right is scx10 with Axial high clearance knuckle, on left is AR60 with scale knuckle, same hub same hex on both.

They might. If not a thicker hex might fix the issue.

I had axial 8 holes on my 1.9 Wraith build with scale hubs and knuckles if that helps any. I did use thicker proline clamping hexes to help PitBull growlers clear with plenty of room.

ive brought some scx10 wheels/tires for a decent price so ill try my luck...if they dont wonk they will go onto another rc so no big loss if they dont work.
