Well i went ahead and pulled the motor apart and examined the comm. and it looked good(no chunks out)of the comm. I also had a look inside of the can to make sure there wasn't anything hung in between the magnets. I got to digging around a little and found another post where someone else was having a similar issue with their Holmes brushed motor,but theirs was getting quiet after running the motor longer. The problem they were having was caused by brush jitter. Sorry guys that i didn't do a little more searching,i guess i was just a little anxious to find a solution. Thanks again for all of ya'lls help!
