Looking good! Where did you get those Boom racing upgrades? From Asiatees or do they have a distributor in EU? Had to register here after seeing your thread. I just ordered the Poison Spyder rtr set too, will get it probably on Tuesday. I have about the same plans as you but I will cut the bodypanels from 0,75mm steel plate I've been flying multis for two years but haven't had an rc car for over 10 years.

I bought it from Asiatees.com I think you have to change a lot to use it normally. After I change only the steering links, the front C hubs and knuckles I could drive it more precisely. My styrene bodypanels was just an intermediate station to the Bronco. I'm curious about your bodypanels.

Pro-Line Ford Bronco Body 3373 for Rock Crawler Looks like PL doesn't make it anymore. eBay looks to be the only place to get one.

I bought one on Amazon last week. It was a little cheaper than eBay.

Nice work. We're in the same boat, essentially. You're a little further than I am. I haven't cut mine out yet. I took the last decade off from RC and I'm a bit rusty. I'm trying to practice on other stuff before lay waste to the bronco. I'm also going for the yellow and black look. I'm hoping to watch where you cut the hood so I have a vantage point before I cut mine. Did you have to notch out the front because of servo clearance? |

At the moment I think I won't cut the hood. I haven't got a really precise hand so I will asks a little help from Latya. Yes, I have to cut the lower front because the servo touched the body when its moving.

When I bought it was an RTR, and after painted the wheels, I used the wide 20 mm hubs which was in the box too.

| Re: Madman740's Axial Wraith The stock BFG's are not the R35 compound so they are really hard/stiff. I got the same RTR a while back and when I picked up a Spawn for my son I noticed the big difference with the R35 compound (much more sticky and pliable)... I now have the BFG's in the softer rubber and it is a world of difference. Now I am waiting on my VP method 105s and some Crawler Innovations Double Deuce foams. I do like the look and the tread is great in the softer stuff. I have done all the small mods and run Holmes Hobbies electronics, so now I am stepping off and starting the big(expensive mods). Good thing I really only crawl with my son, so not much need to modify until we break something.
