| Wraith Slider
What does it mean when someone says they are selling their wraith as a slider? I have heard of the term roller but never heard the term slider? Can someone fill me in. Thanks |

No wheels and tires. Can't roll. Has to slide on its chassis.

More than likely, it also means that there are no electronics. If there are electronics, they should specify. A 'roller' is a wraith sans electronics. It should stand to reason that a slider is a step down from that. More info: RTR: Comes with everything, including the transmitter. ARTR: Comes with nearly everything. There is no gold standard here (in the used/private market). ARTR should* be everything but the TX/RX (as it is in the retail market). But it could be that it has everything but a servo, or motor, or... you get the idea. Roller: Everything but the electronics (though a roller can be sold with some, but not all electronics - in that case, it should be specified in the for sale ad) Slider: Everything but the electronics, wheels & tires (though a slider can also be sold with some, but not all, electronics - in that case, it should be specified in the for sale ad - should include suspension links, shocks, etc) Chassis: Just like a slider, but sans the suspension links, shocks, etc. May or may not include body or body panels Body: Just like it sounds. Not a lot to explain here. ;) Last edited by TheScaleAddict; 12-28-2015 at 09:49 AM. |
