| Gripfab ARB spools
Installed these and they are great looking. Shame they sit hidden in a Axle. Just one small gripe. They came with shorter screws to mount the ring gear which looked great as the excess of the stock screws was not sticking out the other side BUT the heads are too big. They scuff the axle casings and will not rotate freely. I have had to use the stock screws. These are in the VP axle housings so maybe they are a tighter fit? |

Hello. Mine are the version one. I was thinking though there were no instructions with the spools and I used the paper gasket off the stock. Maybe this should not be used. But either way the stock screws sit flush in the Ring gear and the supplier screws do not.

I don't think any of the after market (that I've used) lockers and spools work with the gaskets.

| Re: Gripfab ARB spools I believe the ring gear and diff housing were designed for diff gears and cross shafts, the o-rings and gasket were to keep the diff fluid from leaking. Axial just left the gear and housing as it was instead of changing the design or making more parts for the locker

Did you have any luck with fitting the arb spools in the Vanquish Ar60 housings? I have the arb spools and they fit in the stock housings. Wanted to upgrade my housings so went to DLUX modded housings, because of the problems i've read about fitment with Vanquish vs ARB spools. However want to upgrade to VP housings in the future. Will these fit with the new Vanquish AR60 housings? |

You've got d lux housings, there is no need to "upgrade" to an alloy housing now.

Don't know about the "new" VP AR60 housings. RPP recommends changing the hardware if your are using a VP Currie axle. GripFab Officially Licensed ARB Locker |

Just to clarify I did get them to fit in the V1 axles. I just used the stock hardware that sits flush in the ring gear.
