| wraith 1.9 scx10 steering question
doing a 1.9 wraith with scx10 axles, have lenght etc setup but dont like the look of the plastic steering linkage between axles so i want to get something else, what are people using to keep it closer to the axle as i dont really like how it sits so far away from axle...i know it needs room when steering but there has to be a better looking setup. the only vanquish one i could find was for the currie axles so im guessing this wont work on a normal axle...or will it as i guessing the widths are all the same etc any other ideas to have a decent looking fornt linkage...??? |

You could do home made. Or an axial steering kit. __________________________ 1.9 Ibex tuber - The Merica ibex. R.I.P Dave Mirra Cheers Jacob |

it might have to be homemade by the fact i cant find anything i really like. ive made all the other links but thought id try and find some that looks abit nicer at the front because you see it more.

I'm pretty happy with the RC4X4 tie rod set I've got on my XR width axle, their stock width version looks just as nice Burly Beef Tube Stock Width Steering linkage | SCX10 Stock Steering Linkage Set RC4x4 - Super Shafty |

I've got the VP tie rod/drag link set on my scx10 & it doesn't have Curries, my understanding is it only works with high steer knuckles, these are the VP 0deg |

here's my Wraith's 3/16" custom titanium steering links designed for the AR60 axle. Was bent/threaded by T.Mike (hardcorerc) but I believe he's no longer offering his wares. ignore the servo... 'cuz it was just on there for mock up. Maybe check out Blue Monkey RC and see if they might offer something that works for ya. |
