Default Magnets and the ESC?

Hey guys, went through my parents junk drawer and found some really strong magnets. I was wondering if I could glue a magnet to the esc so it will stick to the mounting plate I have. Reason for this idea is that I wanna stop glueing the esc to the plate and having to rip it off every time I really wanna deep clean my rig. Thanks!

Velcro or simply zip tie would be my suggestion.

Just trying to use what I have on hand, might go a different route now but I would still like to know if magnets are safe on the esc.

Explain the super magnets I have in my motor that have zero influence on my electronics then. Or all the magnets in servo motors.

So then I should be able to glue a magnet on the esc? Didn't even think of the magnets in the motor. My esc basically sits on top of the motor and trans.

They are enough distance away and from the esc. It doesn't effect it. Also the strength of the magnet too. Explain to me why the screen on your computer or phone goes rainbow next to a magnet.

That is absolutely invalid unless you have an lcd monitor on your esc.

Took a motor that will stick to my fridge in every direction and put it next to my monitor. So a VERY strong magnet. It tried to stick to something inside.

This isn't the old days when it messes up (modern) TVs. Nor does it mess up things inside an ESC.

Those old monitors hated magnets. Different tech, doesn't happen anymore. I used to work tech support at a college, and everyone had those old CRT monitors. One student liked to put his huge home theater speakers ON TOP of his monitor and then complained of the halo on his monitor. Same room, like 5 times.

Saw it all too often in college. Dudes had huge TVs and speakers and would put them too close so the rainbow of death was looming. Speaker world even made shielded speakers for close to TV applications.

Older/other than that, it was keep magnets away from 5 1/4 floppy discs.
