Default RC4WD AX-2 Motor Wiring?

I just installed the AX-2 transmission in my wraith and now the motor wires pass right over the exposed spur gear. It's already really tight under the interior and I'm worried about those wires getting chewed up and shorting. Is there a better way of doing this?

Either post a photo so that we can see, or make your wires longer to reroute them, also check if you turn the motor so the wires leads come closer to the side you are routing them.
