Default Swapping out AX10 Deadbolt for Wraith

After having my Deadbolt for a little over 1 year I decided I wanted something more scale looking as my 2.2 rig. I set out on EBay and picked up a mostly complete wraith chassis so I could start swapping out everything that I could. while swapping out the tranny, I upgraded to some Robinson Racing gears and new Fast Eddy bearings.

Currently waiting for a new spur gear before I mount up the electronics. Here is some pictures of my progress on some diy panels. There were sloppily made but they work.

What did you use as hinges for the reverse opening hood? And actually those panel are pretty wicked. Also which front mount plate is on that? if you happen to know.

I used parts 3 or 6 off the AX80085B tree. I also used some plastic spacers but don't recall the parts tree, they are maybe 1/4 thick. The prevent the hinges from getting too tight around the bar they mount to. I used magnets and washers for the magnet to grab at the other end.

I'm not sure on the plate as it came from the owner I had bought it from installed that way.

Thanks for the comment about the panels. I had to use oversized screw heads to cover some elongated holes made during panel fit up.

That's exactly where I am, I love my deadbolt just tired of the deadbolt body, especially after installing proline XL tsl's and having to hack up the fenders, may have to look at doing this to, basically all you need is the wraith tabular frame?

You need the frame, the wraith transmission case, the wraith specific lower gear, a new bearing for the lower gear. It has an extended output on one side for the wraith transmission and because the bottom skid is longer.
