| Proline shock spring rates
I just received a set of proline powerstroke shocks for my wraith. I'm very impressed with the fit & finish but, the as shipped spring rate seems pretty stiff. What spring set up would be a good starting point for a built up Wraith? I have plenty of different oils to work with but, I'll have to pick up some new springs. Thanks CG3 BadAssRC |

Personally on my Wraith for crawling I run the Axial "purple" 1.43lb/" springs on Traxxas Big Bore shocks. Now they're only a 14mm spring so I don't think they'll fit the PL shocks (17mm I think) but I think you'd be looking for that 1.4-1.5lb range, unless your Wraith is particularly heavy. http://www.prolineracing.com/images/...SpringRate.pdf |

I run the proline yellow mediums on gmade xd's. I've only tested in my yard but they seem good. My wraith is heavy. I would try the softs up front and maybe super softs in the rear with 30-35 wt oil. If you've moved your battery up front I'd go with softs in front and rear. Good thing is each spring set comes with choices so you can dial in your springs

I've ordered a couple of spring sets from proline. Thanks for the input. CG3. |
