Lights for Wraith Spawn
 

I am looking to add some lights to my Spawn RTR. Studying the manuals for the Wraith kit it looks like the Axial Simple Controller AX24257 will fit in the receiver box.

Can someone confirm this for the Spawn?

I'd also like to add a light bar in addition to headlights/taillights. To do this I believe I would need the 3-port High Output controller AX31097. Will this fit in the receiver box?

I want to keep this all waterproof, that is why I am asking about what fits in the receiver box.

I am new to RC, have been studying online various options of proceeding with lights. I'm pretty sure I know what Axial parts are needed if I proceed down the Axial path. There are a lot of vendors so I am open to other suggestions on how to proceed to add lights to my Spawn RTR.

It won't fit in the receiver box with the receiver in there too, that's for sure. That box is small with just enough room to get a decent sized 4 channel receiver and maybe the BEC but not much else.

Going to add to this forum I may...
I'm looking to add a vanquish rigid 5" bar and a rear red bar (probably gear head?), what small 11.1v 3 cell should I run them on?

Gear head light bars are only 5-6v so can't run from 3s without it's own bec to drop volts (I'd just plug into rx or Y harness from rx)

Any 3s should be fine for the VP bar, they draw very little current so it shouldn't need to be huge, just seen a review on RPP dude says he ran from 350mah 3s for over 2hrs.
Just remember to get a lv alarm for it as well so you don't under volt your lipo & kill it.

Want to mount a vanquish light bar on top of the windshield with the poison spider moutn s.What size do i need?5 or 6'?

5" only for the VP bar, def not 6"
I have the gear head trail torch on mine & it's only a bit over 4" but fits the Axial light bar frame.

Using the PS mount would need a little wider

End to end? Are we still talking about light bars?
It's just on 5" across the top of the windscreen bar/roof brow if thats what your looking for
