Default Hobbywing 3656sd cogging

Hi all,

I just finished building a Wraith Spawn Kit and put a Hobbywing 3656sd 4000kv sensored motor with hobbywing 120A ESC.

I tried it tonight for the first time and on 2s geared 56/16 it's pretty fast but it coggs pretty good whenever I try to slow crawl. The sensor cable was well connected so could my gearing be too high?

I could go down to a 11 pinion gear would that help? Motor and ESC didn't run hot and I ran it for 1h on a 5800 mah 2s lipo Tunigy nanotech pack.

Any recommendations?

I never had any troubles with this combo. 56/16 gearing is a bit much. 11 pinion is a good place to start.
Could also be some ESC settings. The HW 120 ESC isn't the smoothest ESC to begin with either.

Probably a bad sensor cable or sensor board.

Try to find a MMP. I run an 11t pinion and it's smooth as glass.

Just switched to a 11T will try to get out on the weekend and see if it makes a change. I had dyalectric grease on both ends of the sensor so maybe it came a bit loose. It's in tight on both ends so will see if there is a change.
