Default Batteries

What size and cell lipos are not common with the wraith. Right now I'm running 2s 5000mah batteries and am considering going with 3s lipos just don't know what size. I'm looking for long run time but don't want a huge battery.

I used to run the 2s 5000 mah Venom batteries. They last forever but I might as well have put a brick in there! Now I run 3s 2200 mah cells and three of them pushed my 10 lb rig around ALL day at the RECON G6, including putzing around before the event, mud bogging, night run and trying many, many times to make an insane hill climb at full speed. I'm not usually heavy on the throttle and I can get at least 90 minutes of good run time from each one.

I use nanotec and turnigy a spec, some people love them others hate them. Buy a good battery and take care of it balance change it and storage charge them in a bag. Liposack.com make nice bags.

I use SMC 3s 4300mah hard case in my wraiths. Same size as a 5000 2s. I get 3-4 hours of runtime and they fit up front very nicely. I also have a 4s 3600mah hard case from SMC that is also the exact same size that I run foe that little boost in power when I need it. Love these batteries. They are under $40 with your choice of plug already installed.
