| Transmission and corrosion X question
I am going to be waterproofing my truck and I just disassembled the super shafty transmission. I can soak the bearings and gears and shafts in corrosion X right? The gears are steel but are coated black so maybe I should just put grease all over the gears instead of corossion X. Someone answered my question awhile ago about corrosion X but I can't find it. It can be put on moving parts like the mips and bearing right? Like it won't dry hard like a conformal coating or anything? It's just like a liquid coating that repels water?

Yes, it's safe for plastic and electronics. That thread is here - Wraithzilla II Build... Well, Assembly really Grease is better for the gears, it will stay put. |
