| Pls help . Voltage issues?
Hi this is my first post on any forum so pls bare with me .. I'm running into some voltage issues .. I'm running a axial wraith with a mamba pro scu with external Bec that I soldered in , lrp truck puller motor 55turn , absima 22kg servo , fly sky radio .. lots of metal upgrades eg. Drive shaft , steering links , suspension links and mounts .. so she's a bit heavy .. about 3.5kg .. heaps of lights , but they all run from their own power supplys ... Problem is this .... power cutting off when starting a hill climb or moving over an object like a large rock ... if I squeeze on power very gently I can climb almost anything bit if I try to spin the wheels ,and it's a fine line , it cuts power (and I usually roll back down the hill with no power or fall off my rock)... if I give it a push I can hit full throttle and she goes like speeding tank , which is rad ... I also think my servo is taking too much power .. low voltage alarm on my radio controller signals when I turn left and right ... is this the overall problem? .. how do I go about solving this problem? ... |

The low voltage alarm on your radio is referring to the radio battery, not the rig. That might be causing your signal to cut out which could cause any number of issues. Get your radio charged up and we can go from there.

OK, if I understand you correctly now, you're getting a low voltage alarm from the ESC (or SCU, the mamba max pro) when steering? Are you running LiPo or NiMH battery? If it's NiMH you need to disable the cutoff voltage on the MMP.

What kind of battery connector are you running, what gauge wires, how many cell bat and what type, did you program the esc for a cut off. All this stuff matters. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk |
