| Wraith shocks
I've read a few threads about shocks but they really don't say much. I run a wraith for crawling and maby some trail runs, I have the lowering kit from crc hobby. Will I be able to run 120mm with lowering kit and not get a top heavy wraith if I use softer springs? I plan on spending 70$ at the most. I don't just want functionality I want them to look ok to. I love the looks of the hot racing springless but they don't seem to be very good. What do you guys recommend? |

Get a set of the axial metal body shocks and add your choice of aluminum caps & retainers. I don't think you can do much better functionally. If you use the Traxxas x-ring they wont leak. CG3 |

You mean a set of these? https://www.ebay.com/itm/131667110969 Cause they are kinda expensive. Also buying 4 body's 4 caps and 4 spring retainers will cost me more then 70$ cause no vendor has all 3 stuff. Those are the shocks I meant however, they come stock with Axial kits. You should be able to get some much cheaper from someone who has mistakenly "upgraded". This is another cheaper alternative. Use you're existing guts in new tubes. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Axial-AX3012...YAAOSw~OVW0kqU Last edited by chipgibbs; 07-04-2016 at 03:18 PM. |

I also found these when looking for axial shocks https://www.ebay.com/itm/381319768595 they look ok but not sure if axials springs fit on there. Sucks to buy new springs and gmade don't seem to offer allot of spring variations either. I ended up buying the gmade piggybacks cause of the option to soften and harden the shock on the spot. I also bought 2 sets of shock straps that are 100mm, mostly cause they look awesome. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk Last edited by THX_138; 07-29-2016 at 09:43 AM. |
