Default RR10 Bomber-Skid and Trans on Wraith

Hi guys!
I have some questions abou the RR10 skid and trans on a Wraith.
Has anyone fitted the Bomber skid and trans on a Wraith?
If I fit them, do I also need to run the Bomber rear shaft?
Also, is the Bomber trans any good for crawling or is the Wraith/SCX-10 better?
Thanks!

Yes it bolts in. I've seen then used when they want to run trailing arms on their wraith as it provides mounts for them. But if you don't want trailing arms, there isn't a big need for it.

I prefer the wraith trans as it is more compact and has a bit more reduction ratio for crawling.

But trailing arms are better for crawling right? That's why I'm thinking of getting Bomber skid

You can run trailing arms on the Wraith skid. I run TAs on 2 Wraiths with the stock skid. If you mount the Bomber skid you will also have clearance issues with the TAs hitting the lower Wraith frame rails. Just want you to know there would be cutting involved if you mount the Bomber skid to the Wraith chassis.

there is no significant advantage in crawling, people will debate this to worlds end, but its not going to change the truck night and day for sure IMO.

I just did the skid/trans swap, and it's pretty straight forward. Trailing arms & upper links are stock Yeti/Bomber parts. I don't have any clearance issues between the frame & trailing arms, although the stock rear shocks are too short. Running a set of 120mm shocks should put the chassis back, or close to, stock ride height. I can't comment on ride characteristics yet, as this is just a gutless roller right now.

It works well. If you use Pl aged trailing arms you have tweet this chassis a little the real issue is mounting a sway bar..
