I basically am looking for advice on how people are shortening there wheelbase w/o frame interference. In the front the axle mounted servo hits the upper bumper mount brace and the rear hits the tube frame right where it begins to widen out. I don't have pics of what I'm talking about at the moment but can grab some later. Is a CMS necessary to shorten the front and completely vertical rear shocks necessary for the rear? If I were you, I'd be looking at all the 1.9 Wraith info I could find. This is where you see 99% of the SWB Wraiths and all of the creative fixes guys have come up with. I did a 1.9 Wraith on XR10 width axles and kept the servo on the front axle with no modifications of any kind, all bolt on. I shortened the links on the front axle to skid and left the rear alone except for adding trailing arms. Very easy to do and straight forward. The hardest part is getting the pinion angle dialed and that wasn't difficult at all.

Thanks. I'll do that. I'm building a 1.9 wraith with tko axles so the pinion angle problem is helped by the already angled pinion angle. Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk |
