| Poison Spyder wraith, good buy?
Hey guys. Was looking at maybe expanding my rc collection (even though I probably shouldn't 🙄😂). Was looking at maybe getting the poison spyder wraith. Was wondering if that would be a good buy or not. Thanks |

I like mine. I ran it stock for a long time before upgrading. The only thing I broke was the center gear in the trans. After that I just started to upgrade. I say it's a good buy.

That's the wraith I started with and its a good choice. There are a few upgrades you'll probably have to make after a few packs if not sooner. -replace servo with somthing stronger -replace motor with 27t or higher and replace the pinion gear to bring the ratio to at least 5:1 -replaced tranny gears with metal gears. Those are the things that let go almost right away. Some people get lucky and don't need that stuff for a while so YMMV |

Yeah that's probably what I would do anyways because my friends had the spawn and he burned out two motors because he had it geared wrong.

| Re: Poison Spyder wraith, good buy? love my Wraith but its a money pit. You will upgrade this, then this will be the weak link and you will want to upgrade it. Then someone has a cool scale piece you want for the "look" so you buy it. $1,4oo later and its probably eventually going to go through another transformation. Its Fun but expensive. Be prepared to invest about $500 to get it up to snuff.

Don't worry i know that these things are money pits. I have a Scx10 and an Ax10 Deadbolt and only one is normally running at all times so that's why i need another one |
