Default Bec needed?

I'm in the process of upgrading my servo and I'm wondering do I need an external bec if I'm just running a 2s battery?

Depends on if the servo you're installing is rated for 7.4 volts or less. If yes then you will not need a bec.

Personally, I'll never run a rig w/o a bec.

I've had too many brown out issues without them.

100% of my rigs have em, too easy of a thing to do for the huge gain

I laugh at all the people who don't want to run one, so easy

Go on and laugh at me, My sporty doesnt use one, Thanks Holmes Hobbies for eliminating BEC's

Oh and my Top Truck doesnt run one, The 8 amp built into my Mamba Monster X is plenty of power to push another fine Holmes Hobbies, The HV500 that came out before the new BEC'less one.. Never an issue with either truck..

Go on, Laugh away..
