Yea - but carter doesnt make hoods. Advancedmetalfab on eBay - $63 shipped for everything including the rear filler panel with hitch and taillight protectors.. Carters stuff is really nice - but I wanted something thicker than .025. This stuff is great and they are super fast shippers. If you hinge your hood - be sure and tell them you dont want the holes drilled in the 2 spots back by the dash. there will still be the 2 embosses there but they wont drill them. i took it out today and beat it around and they still look great. |

Nope definitely not mine. I can make mine out of whatever thickness you want. I run .025 for scale and weight. Also the roof panel bend is all wrong and you don't get the firewall wrap with these. I do sale hoods and they make these look like a joke. They are made by a vendor on here, Shooter Fab(shooter125).Not saying your rig doesn't look good, it does. And I'm not trying to bash or get mad. I just choose to spend my money and support the site and vendors here. |

Roof panel bend all wrong - hmmm sorry - I didnt realize there was only one way to do it. I cant use the inner fender wells - I have to get there since that is where my battery plugs into my ESC. |

Wow. Someone is mad even if they say they aren't mad. Glad I saw this before I decided on who to order my set from.

Why exactly did you dig this up from over 4 years ago?

| Re: New Suit of Armor Why exactly did you feel the need to ask me that, in that tone? This thread is actually why I joined the forum, as op had referenced it in another thread, which I found while googling photos of AFM's products. I couldn't search for it until I joined. EXCUSE ME for not looking at the date. Last edited by RampantRC; 08-10-2016 at 05:28 PM. |

Just order from AMF. Their products are awesome. I recently purchased a full set of their panels for my Wraith and the fit and finish is great. They're available from several site vendors. Don't be butt hurt. Digging up old threads is always going to get attention on a forum. Part of the fun of forums is seeing who you can annoy.

No, no rule against digging up 4 year old posts to add your contribution. My question was genuine and I got my answer and more. Welcome to RCC.

| Re: New Suit of Armor Don't feel bad, I have sent half a dozen pm's regarding some fabrication work for custom axle housings in the past. Not one reply. I ended up giving my money to someone else. |
