Default Proline Powerstroke shocks

I'm running 4" Powerstroke shocks on my Wraith front and rear. I like to run single stage springs but I'm not sure what would fit. Has anyone ran any springs they can suggest.

You can just remove the upper spring and run the preload collar down until it seats. GMade springs fit. ProLine Prospec springs fit too.

You can use a bunch of different short course springs. Can't remember if I'm running associated or losi springs on my 5" powerstrokes

I'm running these on my bomber, what's the advantage of a single stage spring VS how they come?

Personal preference. Some want a straight rate all the way through the travel, some want a softer initial rate that changes to a more progressive rate once the first spring compresses. Anytime I run dual rate springs in my crawlers, I set them up so that the top spring is more of a "take up" spring that is close to fully compressed at static ride height. This keeps the secondary or active spring seated when the shock is at full droop yet becomes fully engaged at static ride height. In go fast rigs, dual springs are great for having a lighter spring rate to soak up the small bumps and a higher rate secondary spring for big hits and bottoming resistance.

Good info, for my set up-more go fast than crawling, sounds like keeping the dual rate is the way to go. I love the fact that this rig can bash and crawl!
