I turned one of my Wraith's into a 1.9'' rig with SCX10 axles And I painted my Wraith Chassis OD Green and mixed my own paint Took the chassis apart and painted the pieces by hand with a brush I also painted my Hutchinson beadlocks OD Green from a rattle can And like how it looks, but I have since parted out the Wraith Too use the parts and rims for 1/6th Scale Dragon Jeep Last edited by kgb424; 12-11-2018 at 01:27 AM. |

Looks nice I remember awhile back I used motor paint to paint a few plastic pieces on my ATV and they held up great so I think I'm going to try the same paint on the wraith what grit of sand paper would work the best

I used Rust-Oleum red primer and Forest Green paint, I bought at Home Depot, and painted the chassis with out sanding it On the wheels, I used a Scotchbrite pad to scuff them up a little and then used Etchless Primer and then Rattle can OD Flat Green and then I shot a little Flat Clear over the OD Green Scotchbrite pads work good for me Last edited by kgb424; 10-16-2016 at 08:08 PM. |

You can get spray paint that's meant specifically for plastic. I would stick with something like that. Make sure to follow the directions for proper adhesion. Also, I would hit it with a light coat of acrylic enamel for durability. You should be able to get a can that's matt finish, so that it's not shiny. |

Deffently recomend something like krylon fusion spraypaint and a 2 part Urethane Clear Coat that comes in a spray can you push a button on the bottom to activate it. Much stronger clear coat and will help the paint last on the rocks
