| Bad Mofo Spawn
Alight guys, I just picked up the Spawn kit and got some parts on the way. It's going to be a sweet and fun build. I will definitely get pictures as soon as I start but as for right now here is the build list: Spawn kit VP Currie Front and Rear VP Titanium Link Kit VP Stage 1 VP VVDs VP Panhard Kit and Servo Mount VP KMC Wheels Castle MMP Tekin Roc412 3100kv Protek 170t servo Futaba 4PX radio I'm looking for great options for Tires, Shafts, Gears, and anything else you guys have seen that is a must have. Hopefully parts start showing up soon so I can get this beast together |

Good luck with the protek. That servo was on my buy list until I started reading reviews. Seems like a great servo right up until it breaks. |

I would suggest better shocks, Kings are awful. For tires, I'd go with Rock Beast IIs or ProLine Flat Iron XLs and make sure to get some good Crawler Innovations foams or ProLine's new dual stage foams. Stock WBHD or Traxxas T Maxx shafts are great even on my trucks running 4s brushless. I prefer T Maxx shafts because they're quiet, cheap, very strong, and available everywhere. For gears in the diffs, Axial HD bevel gears. For gears in the trans, Axial or Hot Racing are good. For spools I'd recommend Holmes, Grip Fab, or Incision. I'd also suggest a Holmes one piece output for the trans. A complete set of Fast Eddy, Acer, or Boca bearings is s good idea. A stainless hardware kit from KNK, some MIP hex drivers and and electric screwdriver are very nice to have on hand. This and what you have on the way should give you a great start. Congrats on the kit. I love my Spawns.

Decided on the Proline Powerstrokes for the slash rears all around, I had them on my last wraith and really liked them

I like Powerstroke rears as well as good ol' Traxxas 2662 big bores. Kyosho velvets are great but a little scarce. If you can snatch the blues on eBay for less than $45 shipped, I'd highly recommend them. W5198V is the Kyosho part number IIRC.

The gmade 103mm true piggy backs are fantastic schocks for the wraith. Ive been running them for over 2 years with no issues! They are super adjustable and really easy to tune. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk |

I highly recommend getting some MIP drive shafts and lose the stock ones.
