Default Hobbywing 60A ESC enough?

Need a new ESC since my AE-5 just broke down. I am only doing crawling and my seetup is 3S lipo with a 35T brushed motor.

Is a Hobbywing Quickrun 60A ESC enough for this setup?

Should be but for a couple bucks more you can go with a Hobbywing Quicrun 1080 and get a much nicer ESC. Check the electronics forum where it's being discussed in a couple threads. It's an excellent ESC for less than $40 shipped.

As above.
The 1080 is worth the extra cash over the 1060 all day, every day.

The 1060 is a little bit better than an AE-5 but a 1080 is a huge improvement over the 1060 and the AE-5

There's a few people in my local club with the 1060's on 3s with 35t motors and no issues at all but if you push your trucks hard (binds, stalling motors) and have a high torque servo or 2.2's or heavy wheels then the 1060 might start to struggle a little on 3s. Adding a BEC would sort that out but by the time you factor that in, you're as well with a 1080.
