It looks good. I am big fan of orange! It is interesting how much compression there is in the front tyres. It must grip really well.

Having a heat issue, in the BLE.... not sure what's up, in touch with Holmes. So swapped motors around, OPIE is now running my Tekin 3000 4x4HD, the Puller Pro went to Yeti, and both seem to like it ! Although it didn't solve the heat issue in the BLE.
I've got a 14t in now...OK, but think
I'm going back down to the 11t and it should be perfect speed wise.
The Holmes servo is sweet, strong and quiet.

Do you happen to have a picture showing how much you had to cut off of the right rear upper link mount to fit the Pro4HD? Did you space the trans up at all? I didn't have to take a whole lot off to fit my 56mm can, but it's still got a bit less power than I was hoping for, and I've been giving the 63mm Pro4HD (probably 4300kv) some serious consideration.

No pic, trimmed a corner out, (didn't want to space, 2mm would be close )it just clears long motor I was dropping down from the 3500 to slow it down a bit. Wheel speed was too crazy, insane traction was controllable wheelies, I wanted more crawler, this 3000 is perfect

Update........
Tired of the heat issues, sent my BLE /BEC into Holmes. Two weeks later, they figured it out.....
Makes no sense, but my castle bec screws up neutral. Here you can read it

So the Puller Pro went back to OPIE, the Tekin is playing Yeti !

Well still no BLE, it's between Castle and Holmes... it's perfect, but not....
Installed a MMP and the Puller Pro and went crawling for A couple of packs, no heat, but that ringing from the MMP is annoying !
Took an hour of go pro, need to edit and post up.also have the Holmes servo in runs warmer than the ProModeler 420.

mikemcE, what did you end up with for your gear ratio's? I know you had one setup with what you called too much wheel speed and then you changed it. What were the 2 ratios you had?

I am trying to figure out the gears to put into the axle housings. I am going with the PP 3000 or 3500 and I am using the AX-2 RC4WD 2-Speed Tranny. Looks like stock is 38T/13T but I never seen that setup run before. I see a lot of threads on talking about the gears but I am trying to figure the ratio calculation

Are you doing an interior?
Any details about your plans?

Plans? No, it is a very slow process. I have a shopping cart that has had items in it since last week. I get to a certain point like the gears (no idea what a 56 gen 3 is) then I have to search and end up with more questions than I started with. Just getting frustrating when I thought it was going to be fun. I do not want to hi-jack this thread with my stuff, was just watching Opie progress and was interested in the gearing. I am off to search for 56 gen 3! Late!!

I've amassed gears for everything. I keep my eyes peeled for deals here and there and have built up enough spurs and pinions to setup anything in 48p or 32p. I'm starting with the 5mm pinions now. One can almost never have too many gears. I've gotten bulk buys and getting out of the hobby buys and now literally have some that are 3-4 of the same.

I'd suggest buying 2-3 plastic spurs and a '6 pack' of Robinson Racing pinions then go from there. If you shred the spur and like the ratio get a steel one. I've got only one steel one but the sound drives me nuts so I went back to plastic.

So far the interior is on the shelf.
Rock lights will be here tomorrow, so wiring and adjusting next, then I can think of the interior.
Tackle shop hooked me up with some 200# chartreuse braided line for the winch, first freebie !!
