Default "OPIE"

I've now run 6 full packs.
Tightened the slipper up all the way, still doing that as it's still seating, getting better and better.
Running a 12/56 with the 3500, I just watched Josh/aka Coleman set up his, tried a few things and got more violent !!
I had a tremendous tendency to do a torque wheelie before, even with the centered rear, Now it just does violent controllable wheelies on full throttle, but will walk with a blip!
JRH actually recommended the 3500 over the 2700 except for crawling only ... I can see why.I look forward daily to just waste a battery running the creek bed and jumping the bank

All this is now being caught with my GoPro , will edit some footage soon, once I figure out the technical end of video( I'm a stills guy) but sure is fun

Spring kit? I was thinking of putting these on all 4 corners. I just did not know about the dual spring system

Great shocks, they will work well on all 4 corners

I have these also on my Yeti , I think I'm running dual blues but can't remember. I have them set quite soft and love the feel. I'm using the stock Yeti rears with metal caps out back, not quite as smooth, but work well w/o a sway bar.

The upper is preload, mine is perfect

Well I'm in a quandary , but quite pleasant !
I was out today running OPIE by the tracks again, and I had a blast trailing at speed. The front sway bar worked great, but was curious about flex and my rocks. Went over to a rock with a steep pitch , but a dent for pumpkin clearance , BOOM .... up we went !
Now I was curious,so I disconnected the links, tucked the arms up, and had full flex, great on the rip rap !

This rig will creep up a loose hill or fly over the ridge and land and go.

Swaybars are always a challange on the 1/1's do you run them..... or leave them off..... Depends on what you are doing with the rig. I had a sway bar on my bomber but did not like it when crawling. But I don't go fast with my crawlers. Your build is inspiring to me. keep up the work.

Thanks, but always changing. Installed a WertyMade stinger with side rails and will lose the front mount for now, I did put it out back, time will tell.
I'm just tryin to have fun, this build is a gas to drive so far, with the exception of the servo. I'm being patient on the ProModeler , but really need it

Looking good bro!

I may have missed it, but how much articulation can you get with those long shocks?

I'm running much shorter shocks, 93mm, and was surprised to get 5.5" of flex with them.

And I'm telling you bro - look into the Savox 2290SG. It's a beast!

Default "OPIE"

Made a servo choice. Went with the Holmes HV500.
I put the ProModeler in the truck, and honestly need 500 oz with these ruptures to wiggle on a high traction surface. I was very surprised , to put it mildly !
Between the Savox 2290, Futaba 9177 I could get 600oz for $150. got 500 for $85. With RPP's Memorial Day sale 15% off.

Hmmmmm this is really getting HEAVY, I have to weigh in, I'm close to 9lb easy

That does explain why the PM is struggling a bit, no I'm not going to diet ! All the aluminum , MIPs Robinson slipper , Werty front ...... yup !
