Default My "Not really a build" rebuild Wraith

So I guess I'll start a thread on my Wraith. I hope it can help some who are starting out with a RTR and have zero knowledge about crawlers. I'm no wordsmith, so bear with me...

I bought my Wraith Spawn almost a year ago from my LHS. The got it as a store demo and one of the employees broke it while "testing" it. The owner didn't care to fix it so he sold it to me for a fraction of the retail price. Got it home, tested it out, and foumd it to have a stripped servo horn. $12 and a HR horn later, I'm GTG!

I quickly went to Asia Tees and wasted a way some cash on a ton of aluminum parts. Everything from a skid, links, steering linkage, hubs and lockouts, and chassis parts... I didn't know any better and I was a bit wreckless. I've since used this forum as a huge resource to learn about all things rock crawler. I'll try to chronicle what I've upgraded and where I'm at now and as well as future upgrades.

Body:
My very own aluminum body panels.
AMF rear panel w/ tow hook
Poison Spider interior and seats

Tonight I made some front inner fenders. They really cleaned up and covered my front battery box. Started with construction paper, transferred it over to aluminum sheet, and copied that for the other side. Wish I had done this sooner!

It's a good thing my new Vanquish servo horn arrived today...

Another lunch break crawl at the dam. I think I'm done with HR servo horns.

I was testing out my ESC and motor for glitching the day before on asphalt. I torqued the arm a bit from it flipping...

Then yesterday while doing some hard core crawling, the horn stripped out and I'm guessing I nose dived into a rock. The Savox survived the whole ordeal! My HH HV500 would have died just lookimg at the rocks...

Im running a Mamba X and Tekin 412 3100Kv.
