1st post and help on matching weights to setup

Hello crawlers!
Have been enjoying the forum for the past year and it's finally time for my first post here. Thanks for the wealth of information!

Got a Yeti XL and a Wraith PS a year ago... decided the crawling scene is much more fun. I've upgraded almost everything on the wraith and just recently understood what a difference the extra weights in the wheels make, when I switched wheels with a mate that had 300 grams extra in each front on his comp crawler! I have always avoided putting the weight in the wheels for the obvious: to reduce broken parts!

And here is the question... I want to add as much weight as possible, but NOT in the wheels. Could you please advise as to what would match my setup? I'm running:
SSD Dhole 2.2 with Proline sswampers XL
Vanquish axles, knuckles, lockouts, c-hubs

What knuckle weights would fit? Or could I get more weight by adding a wheel hub extender and brass rings?

Living on an island in Europe it's a b!tch to get parts delivered here and the last this you would want is the parts not to fit so I would immensely appreciate feedback!!!
Next step will be to build a wroncho, maybe on the scx10 II platform

Thanks for the invaluable information everybody is sharing! "thumbsup"

Tak

Vanquish makes knuckle weights specifically for their knuckles AR60 Knuckle Weights - Vanquish Products as does RCbros Knuckle Weights

Edit: I'm not sure if it applies to VP aluminum axle housings, but with stock plastic AR60's you can add brass "beef tubes" inside of your front axle tubes.

RC Bros have a series of discs and add how much you can squeeze on

Thanks for the replies!!!
So for examples if I add 12mm wheel wideners (Mini 12mm Wheel Widener 4 by RC4WD fits Axial SCX10 Wraith AX10 and other RC's - rc Bitz)
would I be able to add quite a few of these: RcBros Full Brass Weight ???

Or would this be something I could fit? https://www.rpphobby.com/ProductDeta...04002&CartID=2

Is there a chance they wont be compatible with the SSD wheels? https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/ssd00152.htm

Well it seems the maximum I can add as non rotating weight would be 100grams per corner... should I go ahead and add another 200 to each wheel or is that asking for it, even though everything has benn upgraded?

These knuckles are a more "thinking outside the box" approach, but you can add some serious weight: Dlux Fab

Do beef tubes fit Vanquish axles?

No , no need to. Vanquish housings are strong and heavy.
