Awesome upgrades.Looks like you got some work ahead of you. Been thinking about grabbin' a Wraith for a while now. My Lhs has a discontinued Poison Spyder version on the shelf.. may have to take a ride up there and see if they still have it.

Front axle done, doesn't look as good with stock axle shafts, but the VVD's are in the mail! Now on to the back!

Goodies in the mail, upper/lower aluminum links, rear cromoly vanquish axle shafts (beefy shafts), HR racing ax10 extended output trans! About the ax10 trans, looking for extended outputs due to MIP driveshafts, this is all I could find, but description wasn't so good that the front is extended but not the back. Which now would cause a problem trying to fit in the wraith. Back MIP is going to rub and have limitations. Supershafty doesn't have any of their extended outputs in stock, hopefully, praying they will make again. |

The MIP's and the screw pins. I went with Harley Designs suggestion of the Traxxas part #5145 first (15 mm), too long and screw head is too long as well, searched and found the Traxxas #5189 (13 mm) and the HPI Racing #86094 (12 mm), ordered both. The HPI on the stock transmission with the AX10 MIPS is a perfect fit, no need to file down! Here are some picks of the fit. First one is the Traxxas 5189, second is the HPI. 3rd is all three that I had tried. 4th is the HPI package in case anyone wanted to know!

| Re: Wraith RTU (ready to upgrade)! I Second that! At first glance in the beginning I figured this would be a mild build.. turns out its becoming bulletproof! Still haven't got the Wraith yet, but I'll be sure to come back here for reference. Sick!

I'm not 100% the MIP will clear that big 61T spur though, but thats easy to change off. Last edited by altd896; 04-06-2017 at 06:25 PM. | |
