Default drive line and suspension upgrade need advice

i god today a used axial wraith...
it already have a 35T motor. and TGY-5521MDHV servo.
upgraded drive shafts, and knuckes.
upper links, and i ordered a lower links too.
and steering link.

for some reason the shocks are diffrent i dont know why, but the rear shocks not work very well. so i want a new set. what brand or model should i chose?
king 110mm piggyback will work for me?

also looking for a lower gear ratio.
and aluminium axles. because the plastic is bad :(

best bang for the buck...

thank you

Your rear shocks may just need a rebuild, they're probably dry. If you're set on getting new ones, Traxxas Big Bores (rears) are probably the best bang for the buck.

You can lower the gear ratio with underdrive gears (AX30402) in the diffs or a larger pinion.

Don't dismiss plastic axle housings too quickly. They don't hang up on rocks and are about 1/10 the price. I use Beef Tubes and/or trusses to stiffen them up and have never had a problem.

I like my plastic axles, I have the SSD diamond, and stock axles, stocks are fun and easy to use, slide easy and don't cost a lot

I too am a big fan of the Traxxas Big Bores .
That said I'm now looking at a set of dravetech 's version. Much better performing and looking !

If I could do it all over again, I would not have bought the various shocks I've purchased, and went with traxxas big bores, these dravtech ones look quite enticing

Don't expect that servo to live long if you replace the stock plastic links
