Default Wraith....i don't get you

So this is my first wraith. I don't understand the front end. I have pwerstroke slash front shocks all around. I only have about 5mm of travel on passenger side of truck. Bumper hits on the drag link. Steering at full left permits about 1mm of shock travel. On the drivers side I could get full travel if the little plastic hoop on the frame didn't come down and hit the servo.

Pictures speak for themselves.

First picture is full compression on passenger side
Second picture is full droop on passenger side.
Third is full droop with wheels turned and no travel available.
Fourth is drivers side compression

Shocks too short? I have WAY more clearance between the cage and axle....

I don't run stock shocks. I am running 5" shocks, with a lowering kit. You could reverse the lowering kit and raise the body.

It's definitely a matter of opinion/preference. But the OP was wondering why he had minimal articulation....

Your shocks look longer than stock. I never though stock had little flex.

Yeah, I think they are honestly, they're on the list of things to replace. They were on the truck when I got it, lol

That looks weird. I mean the front end is a crappy design and something will interfere with something else no matter what, but here the ride height looks too low. Can you get some wheel off side pics?

Shocks are two short. Building a new kit right now and I'm going with longer shocks and a lowering kit.

The Wraith front end design sucks for sure and I don't see any way around unless you custom some of the front chassis, which is one of the reasons why I went with the Dlux truss, which gives you an an option to mount the servo lower on the axle tube.
It will still hit the chassis, however you will get a bit more travel out of it before it does. From memory, I'm able to get 5 3/4" articulation on both sides with 93mm shocks all around.

Sorry, not a great pic showing the servo, but it's all I got at the moment.

I don't quite understand using the Slash front shocks, I'm all for lowering it but I wouldn't have pulled out 103mm shocks & fitted 88mm, thats 15mm (5/8") you've pulled that front axle up to the chassis.

My preference is a softer spring on a longer shock (could even use just shorter spring).
My truck isn't especially heavy & I like the Axial purple 1.43lb AX30224
Let it ride 3/4 sagged to keep the CoG low but have plenty of shock length to drop out if need be.

Plastic hoop on the frame can get chopped, all it does is support the grill panel on the front of the hood & that'll survive just fine without it.

If it were me i would rotate the mounting points on that bumper so the mount is straight down it looks like that would give you alot more clearince in that area
