Default Wraith electronics mount

Thought you guys could give me some input. Let me know what you think. (Sorry if this is a bad section to post this in).

You'll likely get better responses in the Wraith section of the forums.

With that, you will get better performance if you move the battery to the front of the chassis, and move the RX box back. Also, I would cut at aluminum flap that is going over the transmission completely off to allow air flow to the motor, or use it to mount a fan.

Are you looking to put an interior in there? if not, you can pretty much mount the ESC anywhere you want.

Thanks. You’re probably right about the Wraith section. As for an interior, not for the time being, and I was hoping for the “scoop” to direct air at the motor, but a fan isn’t a bad idea.

I always prefer Scale Interiors.... but that's just me!
You could actually make a Box for the ESC where it is - it would keep the yucky stuff out, AND attached to the metal like that will help with heat dispersal.

I understand about the interior part, and trust me, I hate looking at a bare transmission, but I was just trying to make something to take its place until I can get a hold of one. Also, great idea about the ESC box! I might have to look look into that

The scoop is a great idea for faster RCs, but even if your Wraith is geared for speed, there is little airflow getting to that portion of the chassis to really make that effective. Plus, when you REALLY need cooling on the Wraith is when it is climbing.

Keep us posted on what you come up with and how it works.

Yeah I guess speed would help. I am working on mounting a fab somewhere, just not sure yet.
Little update-couldn’t handle the giant empty space so I added a dash type object to fill the space which makes it look a little better
