Default Wraith problems

Hello

First post, looking for some help.

I’ve got a Wraith that has sat for about 6 months. Finally got it out of storage along with my Stampede and Deadbolt. I put a fully charged battery in the wraith and it made a few sporadic beeps. The servo worked a couple times then Locked all the way to one side and then wouldn’t work. Then throttle got screwy and stopped working. Without pulling the throttle it would pulse on and off. Tried a new battery same thing. Turned the remote control off and tried again. Same thing.

Any suggestions? I’m by no means a troubleshooter when it comes to electronics and if it sounds like ESC or something is shot I’ll just replace it.

Thanks
TJ

The ESC beeping is likely an error code, its usually a combination of short beeps and long beeps, look up your ESC's manual and see what the error code is first. It could be as simple as not being calibrated (I mean the error code beeping, not the other weird stuff going on)

But it seems very likely that some electronic component has crapped the bed, It could be the servo, receiver or ESC. Since you have other RC's what you could do is swap out each of those parts one at a time into your Deadbolt (hopefully its in working order). I'd probably guess that the servo is at fault, they can do odd things when they go bad and backfeed voltage to other channels. You might try first unplugging the servo to test if its the culprit.

Oh and if you have a BEC its also a potential culprit to look into.

Thanks.

So if I unplug the servo and everything else works then that’s the culprit I guess.

Yep pretty easy, new one on order. Funny thing is the servo on my stampede burned out also the next day.

It stopped doing that and is back to 2 short 1 long.
