Default Lexan body on wraith

Does anyone run a lexan body on their wraith?
I love the way the truck runs, just tiered of the way it looks. Debating on using an scx10 skid and frame rails. Or buying the BP customs Wraith rails.
All of the pictures I am seeing of the BP rails, guys are installing with the cage to meet comp specs.
Does anyone know if they will work alone if I add plenty of bracing? Or have another suggestion?
Thanks

I chopped up Honcho body for my 1.9 .... looked decent. Just plopped it on the stock cage.

I've also seen Proline Cherokees on Wraiths, they look pretty good.

Here's a picture of my Spawn body on the 1.9 in progress, using TSS WRX10 frame rails and a ridgecrest (basically scx10) skid.

Thanks for the suggestions. I do not know the wheel base of the green truck. Google C.I mega truck and should come up with the build thread here on RCC.

Got tiered of not making any progress. So i finished cleaning up all the clay stained plastic parts. and will be reassembling the truck this weekend back to original form. I have an old Tamiya F-350 body that might get cut up or list it in the for sale section as a trade. as i would rather have a lexan body to work with.

Below is a picture of the style of truck i am going for. Fast, Tough and Fun.

You don't have to go to frame rails and SCX skid to run a lexan body, or even a hard body. It just takes some cutting, trimming and patience. I've seen plenty of guys even running Yota hard bodies. Below is mine with a ProLine Jeep that I trimmed way down, Aluminum panels and an even an old AX10 DeadBolt body that I trimmed the interior out of. Just get creative.

Them bodies look good! Amazes me how the BGR shock hoops makes such a difference in looks.
I still haven't took the time to list anything in the for sale section. i would like to get a used body to practice cutting on before i go through the process of painting a new one.

The big thing is to just take your time. Trim the body first to its natural lines, and then test fit. My rule of thumb when doing it is take little bits at a time ‘cause you can always take more. Alot harder to add it back on! Key thing is to have some fun with it and make it yours!

I really like the Proline Ford Raptor body for the Axial Yeti. That looks like it would be a great fit for The Wraith. The wheelbase on that is 14 in

It's in the building process but you get the idea.

I too like it, but it will cover the entire cage. This is on my Yeti
