Default My scratch slim wraith build... The trim trailer....

Starting on a new project

It is a wraith with scx10 axles, and traxxas 2.2 wheels(at this stage)

I'm not really doing it for any reason other than I can, so I'm excited to see where I take this.

I have ssd D60 axles with stock gears, ssd Pro steering kit, RC4WD delrin wraith skid plate, ssd high ratio transmission, tekin 5mm 4pole 4000kv sensored motor, I have a MMX to put in too, and I think I'll also chuck on my 2290sg

I started tonight, keen for input, and I'll keep this updated as I go along

Well an hour later, some allthread, bolt cutters, and ssd rod ends... We have a much shorter wheelbase.

Starting to look good!

Have moved to 1.9 wheels for now...

Right so I have WAY to much motor.... I have some other options I'll look into...

And I have some swb issues with the servo.

Basically the truck has no front travel... See pics.

I wonder if I can get a suitable low profile servo?

Problem solved for now, slightly longer front wheel base, and a low profile servo mounted slightly forward. Not sure how long the servo will hold up......

I changed out the ssd axles for some stock scx10 axles I had, gave me better servo clearance, and is more inline with my vision... I still need to change the wheel base around a bit, shorten the front and maybe lengthen the rear. But it's all working now....

Next item is the find a more suitable motor. I have an 1800kv sensored motor somewhere that I think will work well...

Ill update when I've made the changes

I changed the shocks out too, running 90mm internal spring
