| Tenshock 906 good for wraith?
I havent been out in a while and going to go out of town in a month or so to meet up with a buddy, so I been dusting off my old wraith getting ready. I was thinking of putting a new motor in it, as of right now I have a titan motor from a summit. Was thinking getting that tenshock 906, any thoughts on this motor? Id like to get something in there fairly cheap but decent, if you know of something decent let me know. Also if I get the tenshock I see it has 6 poles...right now I have a old castle sidewinder maybe a V2...will thos run a 6 pole or I will need a new esc? Thanks |

I saw the 1700kv version used in a redcat gen8 and it crawled incredibly well. Obviously the gearing in wraith will be different, but low end wise, it had very minimal cogging when paired up with a mamba X. I think you could get away with a sidewinder 4, I don't know about the older ones.

My kid has the 1275kv Tenshock and a Sidewinder 3 ESC and his Wraith is super smooth (geared pretty low of course) on 2s. I love their brushless sensorless motors. Go for it!
