| Re: Wraith 1.9? Was able to fit the stock 69’ blazer links on my wraith. Fronts were a direct bolt on, rears I had to shorten by one full turn on the rod ends on all 4 links. I know they are not the best links on the market but for a free spare parts bin upgrade I’m not complaining. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It'll be interesting to see if more break in that spot or it's just a freak one time thing. It does look like a vulnerable area.

Little worried with the chassis. It's not fun replacing a cage for a silly break that shouldnt happen. I'm loving mine. Swapped out all running gear other then motor. Now I need links, servo just flexes the links in any bind. So what have we figured out as far as links? |

We just picked up my wife’s today. Before running went through it bumper to bumper. With exception of opening up gears, will do that after the next 2 days of wheeling it. As usual almost every screw I could get to could be tightened. One was already stripped. The front shocks were in different mounting holes, all 4 shocks were overfilled, top and bottom caps were loose on all 4 shocks. Tuned them best I could, turned out good for what they are. Located shocks in most rearword and forward position. Replace servo with savox 500oz. Put some Pit Bull Mad Beasts that we had on SSD beadlocks with CI foams. Trimmed wheel wells and bottom edge of body at the rockers. On it the body was about 1/8” low. Secured rear of loose body. Managed to stuff a eco power 5000 3s in it. None of the loose screws of minor fixes are a complaint, pretty standard on a RTR. Handed controller to my wife, after all it is hers. She and I after I got a turn absolutely love it. It crawled obstacles in our yard that all our cars ether couldn’t do or struggled on. Others are, Deadbolt, TRX4, SCX10.2 KIT, VS4-10. Over the weekend I’d guess we’ll put about 15hrs on it in the south Idaho desert. Will see how it holds up. She nor I are easy on our rigs. We buy them to use them and enjoy and not worry about it.

| Re: Wraith 1.9? Thank you for the compliment !! I had originally planned to use black, but I checked my supply from 2008 and found that all I have for black was .40 whereas what's in stock was .80 for white. So black paint it is... But not until the upper decking gets it's share of faux diamond plating.. |

I ran my wraith yesterday for a 4 mile walk over flat but rocky terrain. It ran the whole 4 miles on a single 2S 5200mah lipo. I'm a bit amazed, it was just over 3 hours of hiking and walking with a few stops between and I only used one battery. For that I'm going to try and keep this thing a little light. |

Amazing stuff going on here. So great axial/horizon just tweaked a classic and ended up pretty good. Other than a weird frame snap it seems this thing is going to be a success. And that drop bed is FANTASTIC. I will absolutely get one of these. Someday. |

Looks like I need to add shocks to the list... They are leaking all the way down to the bottom of the axle already lmao Last edited by crunky; 03-31-2019 at 11:17 AM.

For those of us that are not talented enough to scratch build with styrene (yet) Dinky RC makes a bed for the Wraith, complete with diamond plate floor, for $12: https://www.dinkyrc.com/collections/...nt=14102926342 |

Ok I got mine and I took it out once! A couple weeks ago, I put out an optimistic overview, happy to see something finally 'new' from Axial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Vlmgs4ZGqg Right now, my 1.9 Wraith and I are not getting along. I'll spend some time this afternoon running it on my two test courses. Some comments - so happy to see something new from Axial with the new ownership - $369 is a lot for what they're offering, especially with what's available out there today. - Are they just capitalizing on the Wraith brand/legacy? It's more Honcho SCX10.2 hybrid. - my radio has a range of about 5 feet. - the steering wheel on the transmitter is huge and enhanced with plastic ridges - All 4 tires wobble like hula hoops - steering angle is no good - dogbones, plastic links and plastic shocks - highlight seems to be the receiver box and the opening hood - have to use a full size battery??? - what/why this new connector - slower than slow for what looks like a powerful macheeen - performs like a Deadbolt II. With no scale body/bumper/overhang, I would hope it can do more. I'll test today Comments? I hope it is not taboo to discuss performance or anything pro/con about the vehicle. I'm loving my SCX10 II Chevy Blazer right now. And I'm trying to buy/try anything that looks compelling and innovative. I should learn more today but help steer me in the right direction. fc @RC Review |

Can someone compare the skid to the SCX10 skid please? I am wanting to run the II kit tranny in this rig.

The connector is the same as an EC3 but with the added IQ plugs for the new Spektrum system.
