| New Shock Question
Some time ago I had converted my Wraith to an STRC Izilla monster truck. I haven't been crawling in over 3 years, but I'm getting the itch again. I'm just going to throw my crawling tires onto the truck and take it to my local crawling spot, but I need new shocks for my truck as well as my sons Wraith. I came across these shocks and they look good for the money. https://www.amainhobbies.com/traxxas...tra4962/p16691 It was a toss-up between these and Traxxas Big bores with the plastic collar clips (tra2662). I don't care about scale or high end performance, but a good shock at a good price. What I like about these shocks is the fact that they have adjustable threaded collars. Does anybody have any experience with these shocks, and if so give me The Good The Bad and The Ugly. Thanks Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |

Your link is to the Traxxas T-Maxx shock set??? They don't have threaded bodies, they're still the clip on adjusters, exactly those that come as TRA2662 Still a great smooth, excellent value shock. Added bonus Axial 14mm springs fit great so there's more soft options than regular SCT springs have. While your at A-Main, the Pro-Line shock mounting kit 6063-05 is an easy way to get pivot balls to the top of the Traxxas shocks. May still need an o-ring & washer on the outside to stop them popping off. |
