Default Axial wraith won’t stay bound

Hi everyone
As the title suggests my axial wraith won’t stay bound
Ok so I’ve had this thing a while now, I haven’t touched it for a while (long story) AX-3 tx and rx, AE-2 esc
Ok so it will bind once, turn it all off, take the binding plug out, turn it back on......all is good steering, forward and reverse

Turn it all off and back on again, nothing......no steering, forward or reverse

Once you had it bound, did you go through the transmitter/ESC calibration procedure?

1 - Make sure your transmitter is on and that the throttle trim is set to ZERO.
2 - Plug the battery into the ESC, with the ESC switch in the “off” position.
3 - Apply full throttle on the transmitter.
4 - Turn the ESC on while applying full throttle.
5 - The ESC will emit a series of beeps through the motor with the “Red” LED.
6 - Continue applying full throttle until the ESC blinks “Green” and emits a series of beeps to finalize the full throttle endpoint.
7 - Once the ESC blinks “Red”, apply full brake/reverse, and hold.
8 - The ESC will emit a series of beeps while blinking “Red” to finalize the reverse/brake endpoint.
9 - Return the throttle to neutral and the ESC will emit a series of beeps to finalize the neutral point.
10 - The ESC will emit one last series of beeps confirming the ESC is ready to go.

Also, does the ESC initialize, short beeps to indicate battery cells and one long beep to indicate communication established.

How about the receiver. Does it have power from the ESC internal BEC? LED in the receiver should light up if powered.

Thanks for the reply.... I got it, I watched the video again and it said to take the binding plug out while everything is turned on (which I wasn’t doing)

What you describe is calibrating the ESC
