Driveshafts?

Finally spun one of my jerry rigged shafts. Now looking for some steel driveshafts. I know historically, MIP has been a favorite but I see Ebay and Amazon flooded with steel shafts for very cheap. Anything good, dependable, strong? Integy still considered garbage?
I'm strictly low speed crawling.

Re: Driveshafts?

I have MIP's, but I put Junfac's in one of my son's cars, so far, so good. I'm considering replacing my front MIP with a Junfac since they can run a bit more angle, and are smaller in diameter. That said, the no-name shafts all over Ebay look similar enough to the Junfacs that I'd be willing to give them a try... especially considering they're under $20.

Re: Driveshafts?

ive been running gds racing driveshafts on all my new builds since mips went crazy with there pricing
ive got a 220mm shaft on a 20lb rig and its still in great shape over a year later the only down side is the stainless steel wire that holds the pin in i just solder it together and the pin cant come out anymore the joint it self is a bit smaller than the mip shafts but not too much smaller the shafts are splined the entire langht on both sides so they can be trimed down if needed there not real cheap around $30 not bad

When you see steel shafts like these -
https://www.ebay.com/itm/362667719734

for $8 shipped. It's hard to not order one to at least try out. I mean, the Axial stock shaft is a small mint by the time you buy all the parts...

Re: Driveshafts?

those look nice but that price is only for 1 shaft still a good price though i wounder if that center is aluminum or steel if its aluminum i would worry about spliting the tube if there steel i bet they will work fine
try them and let us know

Re: Driveshafts?

Definitely going to try a steel ebay set. I guess try and get the longest mm? 150mm+/-
I'll order up this week. I'll report back with which ones and how they do.
