Seen quite a few guys building rock bouncers or rock racers with that steel cage lately. They cut off that front stinger though.

I have the same cage, you have to get creative to mount panels, it’s very top heavy, and the Hot Racing skid plate fits perfectly. There’s enough room to run a 2 speed, as well.

Hey guys! I just ran across this thread. (Thanks for the shout out on my build durok!) I basically ended up building mine because I had all the parts I needed short of a chassis. I figured I'd check out one of these chinesium metal units and see how the quality looked. To my surprise, it was a lot better than I thought, and as I recall, I scored it for like $40 US shipped. It's been driven pretty hard since, and taken some serious tumbles. It's held up well with little more than some scrapes and scratches. Panel attachment can be a bit difficult. I used screws for the side panels that tie in to the skid plate. I wanted the aluminum hood I made to look clean, so i ended up using some adhesive velcro. (It holds surprisingly tight).
