Looking for Wraith 1.9 overdrive information
 

Hello all, as the title suggests. I'm looking for information about overdrive gears for the Wraith 1.9. How much overdrive? anyone else running it?

I've not got my Wraith yet, I just ordered it, supposed to arrive tommorow. I was looking at the online manual and it shows #AX31530 30T/8T ring and pinion is what is stock in the front and rear. I assume this to be accurate?

Also when researching this rig, I noticed there were a lot of complaints of the front bumper support breaking, but then heard Axial updated the molds, but I haven't been able to see how it looks. Did the updated molds get sent out into the production 1.9's? Is it acceptable? or still require bracing? I've seen BP Custom, Reef's, SSD what's the best option?

Also when looking for hop ups, I noticed sometimes the 1.9 is just mixed in with 2.2 stuff as well. Are there any specific sites for 1.9's? I assume some of the SCX10.2 stuff works as well. I don't know. Anyone got a quick crash course for this rig?

I believe you can just use the overdrive gears made for the scx10.2 made by hot racing, boom racing, or soon to be coming ssd.

I have the Boom Racing overdrive gears for a scx10ii in my Wraith 1.9 the work fine and help a lot
