So I picked up this wraith for a project to build, I know it's got some mods done Brushless motor with a 24t pinion, spur is unknown but is metal Metal driveshafts Traxxas wheels and tires Here's a couple pics: https://imgur.com/a/kP2Mmie My question is aside from what I listed what's stock On this thing? Also does anyone make a front electronics tray? I plan on removing the brushless system and running a brushed Traxxas ESC/motor combo. Specifically the Titan 12T 550 would that be alright for crawling and trails with the 24t pinion? |

Why do you want to remove the brushless system? You'll burn out that Titan 12T motor. If you want to go brushed, go with a 21t motor on 3s lipo. Honestly, the brushless system is much better than the Titan brushed Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |

| Re: New Wraith owner The motor in it is better suited for a touring car, on 2s it will do wheelies. I do have a 13t pinion laying around that I could use instead

The 550 won’t fit without trimming the link mount or spacing the tranny up a little bit. That said, I do have a Wraith running a 21t 550. Lol.

I swore it was a 21t the motor/ESC combo was pulled from my old Traxxas GT when I went with a brushless castle setup. my smallest pinion that i got is a 21t pinion. I feel the speed might be overkill on the wraith with that setup. I suppose though it'll be better then the 4600kv brushless setup in it now. | |

There is a thread in this section relating to motor/gearing combos. Have a look through it and see what’s worked for others. If you go brushed get a HobbyWing 1080 ESC. Best bang for your buck available. |
