Default J Concepts Scorpio's

Been running the J Concepts Scorpio's for a bit on the red sandstone around my area, and I'm very pleased with their performance. The small cleats grip nicely on the raw, coarse surface.

The Wraith is a fun platform, and while it has it's limits, I'm often pleased as to what I can get away with on line choice.

I've seen Scorpios run until they were nearly smooth by a Vaterra Ascender owner down in Australia, he went on group rides seemingly every weekend.

He was running mostly on the gritty hard rocks along the coastline, and he swore by their performance.

They're terrible on local rock but the set of 2.2s I have on sealed beadlocks with no foams are some of the best snow tires I've used.

Interesting how they vary on surfaces. There is one particular red sandstone formation that has some fun and challenging lines, and the Wraith did pretty well working to the top.

At times I can feel the limitations of the Wraith design, but I don't crawl enough to warrant a more refined machine.

Get's a little nutty when the truck is 40' up on the rock above your head.
